Mobile Home Ministry

Posted 4/22/2011: "This ministry is funded by generous donations from individuals, community groups, various churches, the United Methodist Foundation and the Martin Keagy Fund."

The Mobile Home Ministry was established in June of 2010 to provide programming for children and families who live at Mt. Morris Estates. In order the bring the ministry to the people, Disciples made the commitment to pay rent, utilities, and furnish the home at Lot 12. Numerous volunteers conduct weekly summer sessions for academic enrichment, art and gardening, and playing board games. Other Mt. Morris churches have joined the effort as well.
