Disciples Leadership
Ephesians 4:12 tells us that our purpose is to "equip the saints for the work of ministry for building up the body of Christ". This work requires strong leadership and an organizational structure. The Disciples leadership team is the Council of Ministries which includes chairs of committees within the church. The selection of chairs and committee members is considered thoughtfully and prayerfully, based on the belief that members can serve best when they are using their spiritual gifts.
It takes many volunteers to keep the ministries of an active church running smoothly. Here Treasurer, Gary Melvin, pays the monthly bills.
