Small Groups

In order to fully experience the joy of being part of a body of believers, participation in small groups is vital. We develop closer friendships with other members, we deepen our spiritual growth, and we contribute to the greater good of the church, our community, and our world. Walk-ins are always welcome. If you have questions please feel free to call 815-734-4853 or use the "Contact Us" link on this website.

Chancel Choir

meets every Thursday evening to prepare music for each service, September through May.

Disciples Telling Stories

is a group of volunteers who periodically enhance our worship experience by delving more deeply into the Bible lessons, and telling them as stories and/or dramatizations.

Shawl Ministry

meets on Thursdays from 10-11 a.m. Participants knit shawls for those needing comfort. Newcomers who want to learn to knit are always welcome.

Chime Choir

meets every Monday evening, September through May. Chimes ring for worship services about once each month and occasionally perform for special services.

United Methodist Women

is a community of women whose purpose is to know God, and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

United Methodist Men

meets for breakfast on the third Sunday of each month. Programs include speakers on a variety of topics that effect Christians locally and worldwide.
